ABOUT ELIZABETH GODDARD
I have worked in the visual arts my entire professional life. After receiving a MA in Art Education I began a career in arts education that evolved into serving as Director of Expressive Arts and Education, then Curator at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts in Grand Rapids, MI.
Most recently I completed a decade long tenure as the Executive Director and Curator of a small contemporary art museum in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Serving thousands and thousands of people in these various roles, there is one thing I am certain of…
creativity is transformative.
